Day 1: Arrival

Individual arrival. Our hotel is very well located, overlooking Lake Leman. What a beautiful lake!
On the shore of the lake there are many charming little towns: Vevey, with its charming little center and a beautiful shore with palm trees, monuments, little shops and restaurants. Here is also located the world headquarters of the giant, Nestlé. On the other side of the lake we can see France!
By train you can quickly get to Montreux, where the annual jazz festival takes place. A little further away, but also perfectly reachable by train, is Geneva, the international city and headquarters of the UN.
At the agreed time, the group will meet at the hotel and we will leave for our welcome dinner.
Day 2: Vevey – Gruyères
We leave Corseaux, heading for the Lavaux vineyards. How beautiful it is! From up there we have the most stunning view of Lac Leman. It is breathtaking!
Of course, a wine tasting is a must. Then we continue along the quiet roads that lead us to the origin of Switzerland's most popular cheese: Gruyère.
Gruyère is also the name of this region that brings together a symphony of green landscapes, cow bells and customs.
Distance: 45 km
Downhill: 236 m

Day 3: Gruyère - Gstaad

Today is Swiss chocolate day! Yes, and we will visit the Maison Cailler of the famous Swiss chocolate, in Broc.
Then we keep cycling through a real postcard from Switzerland: cheese dairies, chalets, snowy mountains, cable cars and all that Swiss mountain atmosphere.
The Pays d'Enhaut and Saaneneland cantons form a magnificent landscape. Very popular with merry mountaineers, it is also considered one of the best cycling regions in Switzerland. No wonder it's a region frequented by celebrities.
In the evening we will have a traditional cheese fondue.
Distance: 51 km
Uphill: 690 m
Downhill: 385 m
Day 4: Gstaad - Interlaken
Simmental's artistically decorated wooden houses are among the most beautiful in Europe.
We cycle overlooking the Simme River, a wild and scenic river 55 km long. Seven springs feed the Simme with strong waters from the glaciers. An ideal river for rafting or canoeing.
We continue on to Spiez, a water sports paradise on the busy Lake Thun. And here we take the boat that will take us to Interlaken.
One word is enough to describe this place: paradise!
Distance: 59 km + boat
Uphill: 375 m
Downhill: 920 m

Day 5: Free day or excursion to Jungfrau (optional)

The Jungfrau region is one of Switzerland's most famous winter regions and on this day we suggest a different kind of trip: by train to the Alpine town of Grindewald and the ‘Top of Europe’, the Jungfrau.
Or you can simply enjoy the Interlaken region.
Day 6: Interlaken – Lake Sarnen
We continue along the shores of Lake Brienz and arrive in Iseltwald, a small town with no more than 400 inhabitants but plenty of charm. The view of the Iseltwald peninsula with the old castle and the Alps in the background is simply incomparable.
Then there's a steep climb up to Meiringen and on to Obwalden. If you prefer, you can take the train across the Brünigpass to reach Obwalden. Obwalden is a small canton in a large valley and a pre-Alpine landscape with scattered villages, flat lakes and long traditions.
Today marks another day of stunning landscapes that will enchant you.
Distance 1: 30 km
Uphill: 630 m
Downhill: 600 m
Distance 2: 20 km + train
Uphill: 105 m
Downhill: 610 m

Day 7: Lake Sarnen - Lucerna

As soon as we glimpse Lake Lucerne, Mount Pilatus looms imposingly in front of us and blocks our view. According to legend, the body of Pontius Pilate rested in a lake on top of the mountain, which led to the mountain being cursed for many centuries. But today it is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the region, with a marvellous view.
Bay after bay right to Lucerne, one of the best known cities in German Switzerland. Lucerne is a mandatory stop for every Viajante.
And so, after a week of cycling through dreamlike scenery, we arrive in Lucerne.
We'll have a short walking city tour and then our farewell dinner.
Distance: 34 km
Uphill: 237 m
Downhill: 318 m
Day 8: Lucerne
After breakfast our tour comes to an end.
