French Way of St. James

Private trip! You decide the date!

If you want to make the Camino de Santiago travelling alone, in your own time, but with all the comfort and safety, we have prepared everything for you. You will make a pilgrimage by bicycle that, for sure, will be an experience that will be marked in your life.

We present you with a self-guided itinerary. You will follow the directions sent in advance to your cell phone and you can also follow the arrows that indicate the way for all pilgrims

There are several Ways that lead to Santiago de Compostela, and the French Way is most widely known. The route is long, 819 km, but by bike or enven e-bike the ride becomes more pleasant and the dificulty level varies from light to challenging.

Many pilgrims seek out the mystical side of the Way, usually with the aim of reinforcing their faith or rediscovering their previously lost faith, or an encounter with themselves. Others, simply for the act of cycling along a beautiful path full of history! Many pilgrans seek out the mystical side of the Way, usually with the aim of reinforcing their faith or rediscovering their previously lost faith, or an encounter with themselves. Others, simply for the act of cycling along a beautiful path full of history!

In the end you will realize that the stones, the flowers, the bridges, the little churches, and the mysteries of the Camino will enter your life. We leave the Way behind, but the Way will not leave us!

The itinerary below is only a suggestion. It can be made more flexible depending on your profile and goals. We can include some free days in the middle of the program, in case you want to rest a little more, add or reduce stops in hotels, include visits and tastings along the way - just tell us what you are looking for.

We suggest this route of 819 km in this 19-day period.

If you don't have that time available, we recommend starting the tour in Leon and doing it in 10 days.

We can also set up a tailor-made program for you, individually or for your group.

Departures are open and can start any day of the week between February and November.

May, June, September, and October: we have better temperature, but it is a period with many pilgrims.

July and August: usually they are very hot months, but if you like it hot, it can also be done at you own convenience.

November, February, and March: it is recommended that you bike with a guide.

December and January: months not recommended, very cold and rainy.

Santiago de Compostela

This is a day of great emotion, the arrival day in Santiago de Compostela, our final destination, one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in Western Europe.

Like the pilgrimages to Rome and Jerusalem, the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela provides a unique religious and spiritual comfort to the walking or cycling pilgrim tourists, who give themselves to this journey as an act of faith and inner fulfilment.

We arrive at the Plaza del Obradoiro, where the majestic and imposing baroque cathedral is located, housing the remains of the apostle Santiago.
